Could You Live an Entire Day Without Plastic?

A journalist tried to go plastic-free for 24 hours. How do you think this experiment would go for you?

Plastic is everywhere. It’s in our clothes, our phones, our sunscreen. But also, increasingly, in marine food chains and in immense floating garbage patches in the oceans.

How concerned are you about the world’s plastic consumption? Do you ever try to cut down on your own plastic use? For example, have you tried bringing your own bags to stores, avoiding takeout containers or forgoing plastic straws?
